Tour overview
Pikey Peak Trek is a newly opened trekking route in the Solukhumbu region that has become very famous within a short period of time because of the best viewpoint of the Everest Himalayan Range. This 8-day trek offers you to discover Everest, the lower Khumbu area, evolving landscapes, the beautiful sunrise and sunset views over this region’s majestic peaks along with unique Sherpa culture and lifestyle background. Even though this area is rural and small, the villages are religiously and culturally diverse with lots of artistic ancient monasteries.
The 8-day Pikey Peak trek starts with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Patale where the journey actually begins. Although this path is newly introduced, it is one of the trekkers’ preference options as the route passes from the Lower Khumbu region that offers a wonderful chance to witness natural and topographical variation along with the cultural experiences of local Sherpa inhabitants. The ancient monasteries, green valleys, massive Mani walls, amazing forests of rhododendron, and fascinating sunrise and sunset views are the major attractions of this trekking route. Pikey peak is famous for its beautiful mountain views, unique Sherpa culture, and calm scenery. The path follows less crowded Khumbu town, small but beautiful villages, and rhododendron forests. The views of the Himalayan panorama and peaceful mountains give an otherworldly feel that attracts numerous trekkers all around the world. Pikey Peak Trek is basically a short trekking destination that anyone can do with a good fitness level without any risk of high altitude sickness.
